In a previous weekend, more specifically the 26th of February, my boyfriend came to town and we left early to take a nice walk through town and go see the free exhibition about Lourinhã's Dinosaurs.
It was a Saturday and he accompanied me to work (I worked from 10a.m. to 1p.m.) and then we went to lunch! We decided to try out a vegetarian restaurant I discovered near my work place and it was very enjoyable!
We ate the day's special, which was Rigattoni (I think) with Portobello Mushrooms and it was super delicious!! I love pasta and I love dishes with either mushrooms or cheese, lots of cheese!
And then for dessert I chose a wild-berries cheesecake (which was AWESOME!!) and my darling chose a chocolate roll (salame) with chestnuts and fig! At first I was really afraid of how all those flavours would blend in but after I tasted his dessert I got swept away! And I don't even like chestnuts! It was really good indeed.
(They're half-eaten because I only remembered to record the yumminess later..).
Well after that we took the subway to Rato and we walked slowly enjoying the day. It was a beautiful sunny day but the wind was strong..
So we took a walk in the park and we managed our way to the museum. After my feet turned into porridge and after we sat a bit at the museum stairs to rest, we headed down to the little room where the Lourinhã's Dinosaurs were being shown.
Lourinhã is considered the Portuguese Dinosaur capitol as they've discovered lots of well preserved footprints, eggs, and even a carnivorous species of dinosaur was found there and named after the place, it's called Lourinhanosaurus antunesi:
The exhibit was very small and we had to walk a looooooong way in this up-and-down city of Lisbon to get there, but it was very cute and even if it was just a small room with a few fossils I felt happy!
So before and after the Exhibit we stopped on our way at the Jardim do Príncipe Real (Royal Prince Park), which is nothing more than a little park with big trees, a small fountain and a lot of people ;P
The place was crowded and there was some sort of handmade/antique market, where people from all around were selling handmade goodies, from felt purses to porcelain, ceramics, old watches, antiques, homemade jam and liquor and even old books. I actually found a stall where they were selling sweets jewelry made out of polymer clay!! It was pretty cool, pity it was very windy that day...
We ended up buying my dad a homemade liquor from a very cute stall as a birthday gift, where the lady was very nice to us and very curious about what I was wearing, she even gave us a free sample of her liquor to taste, and it was very tasty! Even though I don't really like alcoholic beverages I enjoyed the liquor as it was very soft.
I'm sorry I don't have any good pictures of that day.. I brought my camera but forgot to charge the battery so the battery was fairly dead when we wanted to take some pictures... anyways, here is a picture of my dearest Mary Magdalene dress and my coordinate for strolling around!
I'm sorry I look so tired.. I hadn't been sleeping a lot those days and I remember I was super sleepy that day because I had only slept a few hours. At night, at my grandma's house where the birthday dinner for my father was (with uncles and cousins), I was pushing myself real hard to stay awake, I could barely keep my eyes open.
And that's it for today. I wanted to update more often and in a more timely manner but I've been so busy... I still have that photo challenge pictures to post and some other daily-casual stuff I decide to wear and be all crazy like :P
Kisses, thank you for spending your time reading!

Oh I have no idea about Lourinhã's Dinosaurs (it sounds kind of funny xD) :O My boyfriend would love to visit that museum since he loves Archeology and stuff : )
You look amazing on that dress ! It is really beautiful *-* I bet you looked great in the antique market scenario :P
And I am still waiting for those pictures xD
* Hug *
I don't like it too much either (seeing the magazines on the computer) but the alternative is too expensive xD I can't afford all those magazines every month but I would like to have some though...
I think I will post again on the weekend but I'll let you know : )
Yes, you are right, have someone to talk to about this makes it pretty much easier : )
Take care *
